Services

My approach to therapy includes a combination of client-centered, psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral modalities.  By providing a safe and nurturing environment, I believe every client has the capacity to achieve the  goal of bettering themselves  and their relationships.

If you are feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or unhappy with your life or relationships, you are not alone. Many people struggle with these challenges at some point in their lives. Therapy can help you cope with your emotions, improve your self-esteem and confidence, and enhance your communication skills and relationships. My approach to therapy utilizes client-centered, psychodynamic, and cognitive-behavioral treatment methods and interventions to meet each person's own unique needs and goals. I prioritize creating a safe and nurturing environment where you can express yourself freely and explore your thoughts and feelings at a pace that works best for you.

People often ask “What is therapy?” I usually begin by saying that therapy is a confidential, nurturing, and supportive place to work on healing or improving yourself. It is a process of looking within yourself to resolve problematic behaviors, feelings, beliefs, or memories that may be impacting your self-view, relationships with others, or overall quality of life. Unique to each person, therapy may be short-term or ongoing, with the overall goal of helping you become much more aware of yourself and why you often think, feel, or behave in specific ways.
